Alternative Radio host David Barsamian pulls no punches. At a recent stop at the University of Calgary the independent journalist tore into subjects such as the imperialism of the United States the lazy behaviour of mainstream media and the expanding wars of U.S. President Obama with a flurry of acerbic jabs and upper cuts.
He also took dead aim at the Calgary Herald’s pro-war editorial justifying our reasons for staying in the ravaged country by evoking the memory of fallen female Canadian soldier Capt. Nichola Goddard.
Barsamian will be hosting his radio show live in Calgary on listener-supported radio station CJSW on Oct. 28 at 11 a.m. to noon.
