Wow – this past week has been insane with concert announcements and I must admit that I have been a little bit preoccupied with freaking out about Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds coming to the Jubilee on June 27 ( check my other blog post on this for a chance for presale ticket action! ) to realize that there are some other great bands coming to town too! Here’s a rundown:
Electric Six is coming back to The Gateway in March! March 14 to be exact tickets for this show go on sale November 22 at TM Sloth & The Gateway. Always a fun show!
Young the Giant with guest Vance Joy at MacEwan Hall on March 29. Tickets for this show on sale November 22 at 10am at TM $29.50 plus s/c (AA).
Not a band but funny guy Brent Butt’s "Almost a Movie Star" comedy tour will come to the Jack Singer Concert Hall on February 25 tickets for this show on sale November 22 at 10am at epcorcentre.org .
Arcade Fire! Arcade Fire brings their Reflektor Tour to the Saddledome (remember when they played at Mac Hall and then they ended the show in the lobby outside of The Den? Good times…) August 12 of next year tickets $39.50/$50.50/$70.50 plus s/c on sale (guess when?) November 22 at 10am at TM.
Lady Antebellum with Kip Moore and Kasey Musgraves at the Saddledome on March 8 tickets $29.50/$49.50/$79.50/$89.50 plus s/c on sale ha ha November 22 at 10am at TM.
Ellie Goulding people! Ellie Goulding with Rudimental at MacEwan Hall on April 26 tickets $39.50 plus s/c on sale on the same magical day as everyone else November 22 at 10am at TM.
J. Cole’s What Dreams May Come tour will hit the Big Four on January 17 tickets $49.95/$59.50 plus s/c and are already on sale at TM & unionvents.com so go get ’em!
And finally yes Black Sabbath will play the Saddledome on April 20. Tickets $29/$59/$89/$125 plus s/c on sale… wha? November 23 at 10am? That messes with the theme here people!
So there you have it – Friday November 22 at 10am (and Saturday!) will be a very busy time for the interwebs.
