They’ve already promised us the venerable Kathleen Hanna as guest curator and now the organizers at Sled Island have revealed their first batch of headliners.
This year’s fest will feature appearances from space rock masters Spiritualized beloved indie folk songstress Neko Case rock ‘n’ roll legends Rocket From the Crypt experimental art rocker St. Vincent post-hardcore troupe Touché Amoré punk icon Bob Mould Canrock mainstays the Joel Plaskett Emergency modern R&B outfit Rhye rap music monster Killer Mike psych outfit Earthless outsider folk artist Chelsea Wolfe and an appearance from Kathleen Hanna’s own band the Julie Ruin .
Sled Island’s 2014 edition will run from June 18 to 22 at various venues across the city. Passes for the festival are available now.
