Ten days of bike rides special events and workshops officially begin on Friday June 27 with Calgary’s fourth annual Cyclepalooza. Modelled after similar events in Portland and Vancouver Cyclepalooza is a volunteer-directed community-based bicycle-themed festival promotiing arts culture events and fun in Calgary.
Several bike groups as well as messengers and other enthusiasts have organized activities as part of the festivities such as a bike prom (where riders will don their finest duds and dance the night away) a brewery tour a family group ride to the zoo bike polo yarn bombing your bike a glow ride and a whole lot more. All events can be found on the Cyclepalooza calendar.
