There is so much going on this weekend that I am having difficulties figuring out how to slot everything into my old tyme daytimer — no lie! Check it out:
• Vertigo Theatre presents Our Man in Havana, opening Thursday night and running until April 9 at the company’s home The Playhouse.
• Mainstage Dance by the School of Creative & Performing Arts runs Thursday to Saturday at the University Theatre.
• Rose Cousins with Port Cities on Thursday night at Ironwood — check out Mike Bell’s interview with her here.
• Curated: A market of + for + by creatives runs Friday and Saturday at Bowness Community Centre. Go support local artisans!
• The Festival of Animated Objects runs Thursday through Sunday and features so many amazing puppetry performances, as well as film and workshops … do NOT miss this! And if you need some help navigating, my top picks for the fest can be found here.
• Sunday night head down to Ironwood for Johanna Sillanpaa’s CD Release for her latest jazz offering From This Side.
