Sabrina Carpenter, Theory of A Deadman and The Strumbellas added to Stampede’s Coca-Cola Stage

More support and daytime acts announced for this year’s event.

The slow roll out continues for the Calgary Stampede’s Coca-Cola stage, with more headliners, openers and day-time talent announced for the midway hotspot.

Bill-toppers in the new batch are: Canadian rockers Theory of A Deadman, who will perform July 8; Girl Meets World actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter is on the next night; and on July 12 Ontario alt-country act The Strumbellas will play.

The warmups for each act are, in order, Bleeker, Alex Aiono and New Hope Club, and The Elwins.

There will also be daytime performances by Flaysher and Ten Minute Detour (July 8), The Orchard and Jamie Woodfin (July 9), and Ken Stead and Harry Knight (July 12).

“Our goal for the 2017 Coca-Cola Stage is to have more great music, all day, no matter what time you stop by,” said Samara Lastiwka, production manager at the Calgary Stampede, in the release.

“With this year’s expanded festival-style lineup, we are set deliver.”

These acts join previously announced artists including July Talk, Whitehorse and The Sadies, who will be performing on the stage during the July 7 to 16 event.

More acts are to be announced this week.

All performances are free with paid admission into the grounds.
