Win tickets to the CPO’s Sci-Fi Spectacular season closing concert

We have two pairs of tickets for Friday night’s show, which features the music of Star Wars and Star Trek and some far-out visuals.

Our friends at the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra have done it again.

They’ve generously gifted us two pairs of tickets to their closing concert this Friday, June 16 at the Jack Singer Concert Hall — and it’s an amazing one.

It’s their Sci-Fi Spectacular, which will feature the City of Calgary’s “house band” led by conductor John Morris Russell performing TV and film music from such classic fare as Star Wars, Star Trek, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Lost in Space and many more. To make it an even more far-out experience, there will also be visuals provided by famed American astronomer Dr. José Salgado.

The concert will bring to a close the CPO’s season and we want you to see it.

To enter, simply go to our Facebook page, like us and leave a comment under this posting telling us what your favourite science fiction film is. That’s it. Simple.

We’ll pick two winners at random and let them know through direct message by 4 p.m. on June 14.

Good luck, space cadets!
