Help kick cancer below the belt with the Balls Out Beer Tour of local craft breweries

We’re hitting the homestretch of Movember with the hirsute among us showing their support for men’s health with facial atrocities that would make Magnum P.I. recoil.

But, for those who aren’t willing to wear the hair above their lips and on their chins there are other ways to support the cause — and what better than a crawl of local craft breweries?

On Saturday, Nov. 25 it’s the Balls Out Beer Tour and the Ballin’ After Party put on by the Oneball Charitable Cancer Organization and taking place from 3 p.m. on until the wee hours of the morn.

Things kick off at Cold Garden’s magnificently cool home in Inglewood, where there will be a live band and slices o’ pie provided by Famoso Pizzeria. From there, you’ll board a bus and head to sample some of the city’s finest suds at Annex Ale Project, High Line Brewing and Village Brewery. Things will wrap up at Paper Street with the After Party and a special Oneball Ballsy Brew brewed specifically for the event by our friends at Wild Rose Brewery.

It should be a Movember event to remember.

Tickets for the tour are $80, which includes pizza at Cold Garden, a pint at every one of the stops along the way, the transportation, and entry into the After Party. If you can’t make the tour but still want to hit the wrap-up and sample some of that Ballsy Wild Rose beer, tickets are $20 , which includes a free beer and access to games.
