Extras casting call for Season 2 of Calgary area-shot TV series Tin Star, featuring Tim Roth, Christina Hendricks

So you wanna be on the teevee? With some big-time Hollywood types?

That can happen.

The producers behind the Southern Alberta-shot series Tin Star are holding an open casting call for extras to populate Season 2, which will be filming in and around Calgary from February to August of this year.

The series, which stars Tim Roth of Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs fame and Christina Hendricks from Mad Men, is looking for folks of all ethnicities from ages 5 to 85.

If you want your shot at 15 minutes — more likely 20 to 30 seconds in the background — of fame here are the deets:

2373 Banff Trail N.W

Tin Star, which airs on Sky Atlantic in the UK and Amazon Prime in the States, is described on IMDB as a “crime drama set in a mountain town overrun by migrant oil workers.” At last year’s Calgary International Film Festival, the first two episodes of the 10-part series were screened with director and screenwriter Rowan Joffe in attendance.
