Calgary quintet Copperhead have quickly become one of Calgary’s most exciting and interesting musical acts.
Led by the songwriting duo of doe-y, smokey chanteuse Liz Stevens and guitarist-production wiz Kirill Telichev, they’ve built a following as varied and eclectic as their sound — one that straddles the worlds of folk, alt country, blues, rock, ambient and electronica.
Now Copperhead — rounded out by Kane Bender, Rob Cortez and Jamey Lougheed — are getting set to release their gorgeous new five-song, sophomore release Touch, which was recorded last year in Telichev’s Sound Priory Recording Studio.
Before that excellent new album drops, however, they’ve allowed us to give you a sneak preview by premiering the title track, which is a smouldering, shimmering four minutes of aural sensuality.
Please enjoy Copperhead’s tender Touch.
