John Fogerty, Melissa Etheridge to headline the 2018 Oxford Stomp

If you’re celebrating 30 years, you want to make a big impression.

That’s why the annual corporate Stampede shindig the Oxford Stomp has landed a couple of big names for this year’s party, which takes place July 13.

Heading the bill is Rock and Rock Hall of Famer John Fogerty, with openers American blues-rocker Melissa Etheridge, and Canuck veterans Barney Bentall and The Skydiggers.

“We are very proud to deliver what we believe to be the best line up in our 30-year history,” said David Routledge, vice president, real estate management, west for Oxford Properties.

“We’re also very excited to partner with the event’s corporate sponsors, Oxford, GDI Integrated Facility Services, Ainsworth, BLG, Ellis Don, and Molson Coors to raise funds for our charity partner, the Calgary Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC). Giving back to our community is extremely important to Oxford, and we couldn’t think of a more worthy cause.”

The Stomp will also be moving to Shaw Millennium Park this year.

“The venue was selected for its infrastructure, central location, LRT access, green grass, and unobstructed views to the stage from virtually every site location” said Sarah Geddes, communications director for the Oxford Stomp.”

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 at 10 a.m. on the event website: www.oxfordstomp.com.
