Our friends at the National Music Centre are launching the winter/spring season of their Alberta Spotlight series — which theYYSCENE are proud media partners for — Friday, Jan. 24 with a concert by Trinidad and Tobago-born, Grande Prairie-based artist Caleb Hart and Roca Roots. Blending gospel, pop, rock, calypso, soca and reggae, Hart delivers his own brand of music which, warmingly, he calls “island soul.”
To raise the mercury that much more, he’ll be joined by local reggae and dancehall DJ Infamous Ray.
