Funk May Up

Taking inspiration from the multi-band, live music parties that Prince and his contemporaries (Morris Day, Jim Jam, Terry Lewis etc.) threw in their home city back in the early 80s, long-time local songwriter, producer, and funkateer Scott Henderson is organizing an evening of Calgary funk and soul at The Palace.
Along with Henderson’s band, Calgary fixture Souls In Rhythm, he has stacked the bill with busy soulsters The Rondel Roberts Band, harmony groove trio Vincelin, and emerging soulstress Kate Stevens.
