Ramsey Lewis – A Night of Chicago Jazz

Celebrating a 50-year career of musical prowess, Lewis’ piano mastery extends beyond genre, from pop-covers, to funk stylings, and even film scores, though through it all, he has always stayed true to his jazz roots.

Ramsey Lewis discovered his love for piano at the young age of four, and worked his way up to his radio smash hit the The ‘In’ Crowd in 1965.  Since then he has recorded over 80 albums, notably performing with Earth, Wind & Fire on their Sun Goddess album, and was personally congratulated on his 80th birthday by President Barack Obama, who said “You’ve filled our lives with music and with joy.”

Joined by jazz singer Ann Hampton Callaway who is known for her smoldering voice, and trumpet player Marquis Hill, Ramsey Lewis will take you on a night of jazz to remember.
