Tara Mackinnon may have discovered a “foodie paradise” in Calgary but she obviously has not considered the hell on Earth for the geese which suffer tremendously during the procedure to fatten their livers in order to supply foie gras to restaurants. How can this restaurant pride itself on supplying organic beef to its patrons yet serve a dish that is produced by such a cruel disgusting method? Maybe MacKinnon should rethink her decision to proclaim this her “new favourite dish.”
