Re: “Re-evaluate AISH recipients” by Sarafina Kaine Letters August 14-20 2008.
What part of AISH “improvements” does Kaine not get? Perhaps the part of the acronym that indicates the severely handicapped are the recipients. Is she aware of the detailed and lengthy process to become a recipient? I would expect a mean-spirited diatribe from someone like Ralph Klein or a member of the current Alberta government. I’m sure a detailed background check such as the one she would have to apply for through AISH would quickly establish her as completely able-bodied well employed and privileged but clearly not of sound mind.
