Applications open for financial relief
The Alberta Arts Flood Rebuild Fund is now open for applications. The fund was spear-headed by Calgary Arts Development almost immediately after the June flood hit Calgary. The fund is intended to pay for affected artists’ short and mid-terms needs such as restoring damaged works and covering lost revenue.
Money was raised through crowd-funding on InvestYYC.com. It now sits at $185000.
Potential applicants can learn more at CalgaryArtsDevelopment.com. The deadline is September 9 2013.
