According to the government almost $70 million in support has been distributed to almost 40000 people. For longer term support 8200 people have been processed for disaster recovery support with $8.6 million already dished out.

There are 950 people in temporary homes in High River and on the Siksika reserve with an additional 850 potentially moving into ad hoc neighourhoods in the next month. There are 400 people in other forms of temporary housing including hotels.

Three schools are under repair while the remaining schools including those that sustained damage opened for the first day of classes.
