The anti-abortion group Campaign Life Coalition is gearing up a drive to remove elective abortion from medical services covered by public health care. A protest is scheduled for noon on October 3 at the Alberta Legislature. The group is also holding same-day rallies in Nova Scotia Manitoba and Ontario and then in spring 2014 in Quebec Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
Campaign Life Coalition is against elective abortion stem cell research euthanasia human cloning the federal “transgender bathroom bill” passed in March 2013 teaching grade school students about homosexuality in sex-ed curriculums gay marriage gay pride parades and socialism.
A CLC press release states its members oppose the Alberta government forcing patients “who suffer with genuine medical conditions to languish on waiting lists” because tax money is diverted to fund abortions.
