Titus Andronicus extends run

Politics honour murder and retribution. Shakespeare’s bloody revenge tale is proving to be popular.

The fast-paced graphic and entertaining production of Titus Andronicus brought to the stage by The Shakespeare Company and Ground Zero Theatre with Hit & Myth Productions has been held over for a week.

Directed by Haysam Kadri with fight choreography by Karl Sine (who recently won a Betty Mitchell Award for his work on a production last year) the play is one of Shakespeare’s earlier works and offers plenty of action along with the drama — those who aren’t fans of the Bard may be surprised.

If you haven’t seen Titus Andronicus yet you now have until October 12. The play is showing at Vertigo Studio Theatre .
