New Central Library video
Calgary’s new central library once just a pipe dream is now one step closer to reality with the release of the final design. With a sweeping façade facing city hall and expansive views out over East Village the curving building will feature wide-open spaces and quiet reading areas meant to entice Calgarians from every quadrant.
Here’s a great little video of the new building to give you a hint of what’s to come.
The project is expected to be complete by 2018.
