Celebrate World Animal Day with Pages at the Plaza in Kensington. Speakers will be Dr. Olivier Berreville with Canadians for Ethical Treatment of Food Animals (CETFA) and author Else Poulsen whose book Barle’s Story chronicles one polar bear’s amazing recovery from life as a circus act. Animal Defenders International (ADI) will also be represented. There will be environmental displays door prizes and campaign cards on various animal welfare issues. Free admission.
