Alberta Ballet has added an extra performance of Fumbling Towards Ecstasy to its Calgary schedule due to high demand.
The ballet which debuted in 2011 is a collaboration between Alberta Ballet artistic director Jean Grand-Maître and singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan — he choreographed the ballet to her music and it’s named after one of her albums. The show was a hit for Alberta Ballet and upcoming performances are being billed as the "Director’s Cut" featuring new choreography as well as the addition of songs from McLachlan’s latest album Shine On.
The added performance will take place on Wednesday February 11 and the show runs until February 14 at the Jubilee Auditorium.
