“Capture” features photography by Aynsley Stelfox Catherine McAteer and sculptures from Louise P. Chong. Stelfox works in traditional photographic palladium methods that produce delicate yet stunning tonal ranges evoking a sense of memory. McAteer seeks to create photos that are universal and touching all at once. Recently she embarked on a series documenting the birthing process capturing a multitude of emotions ranging from triumph strength and love. Seeking to redefine the perception of adornment Chong constructs tableaus on canvas integrating found objects and precious materials.
