Michael J. Fox cancels Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo appearance

Apparently it’s not our density to hang with Michael J. Fox.

On Monday, the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo announced that the Alberta-born star of the Back to the Future films won’t be able to attend this year’s event due to “unforeseen circumstances in his schedule.”

The actor was supposed to appear at the event for a couple of panels and autograph sessions, including the Back to the Future reunion April 27th alongside film costars Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson and Tom Wilson.

According to organizers, the Back to the Future panel will still continue with the remaining stars, but will be a normal panel accessible to anyone who purchases admission into the Expo, and everyone who has already bought tickets to the special event will be refunded.

Other guests scheduled to appear at this year’s event include Jeff Goldblum, Paul Reubens (a.k.a.Pee-wee Herman), Wil Wheaton,¬†Jason Momoa, Anthony Daniels, Megan Follows, Lou Ferrigno, and a Princess Bride reunion featuring Cary Elwes, Chris Sarandon and Wallace Shawn.

The Calgary Expo runs this year from April 26-29 at Stampede Park.
