Daniel Caesar, Our Lady Peace, Lights among acts added to the Calgary Stampede Coca-Cola Stage lineup

Day two of the Stampede Coca-Cola Stage lineup reveal brings some more big-name Canadian acts to town for those hot July nights.

Our Lady Peace, Lights, Daniel Caesar, The Funk Hunters, Busty and the Bass, Virginia to Vegas, DJ Shub and New York’s Too Many Zooz will perform on the midway in the evening during this year’s Calgary Stampede, which takes place July 5 to 15.

They’ll join previously announced headliners Alexisonfire, Billy Talent, Elle King, Phantogram and The Rural Alberta Advantage.

“With the success of last year’s festival-style lineup, we knew we had to do it again in 2018, bringing fresh music and great artists to the Coca-Cola Stage all day long,” said Samara Lastiwka, programming production manager at the Calgary Stampede, in a release. “The lineup is stacked with homegrown and international headliners that will leave audiences wanting more.”

Other mainly local acts announced on Wednesday, those that will be performing during the day leading up to the headliners, include  Sykamore, School of Rock Calgary South, Mandy McMillan, Kirsty Lee Akers, Island in the Sky, Kaley Bird & The Flat Whites, Lucette, Amelie Patterson, Lyra Brown, The North Sound, Citysleep andThe Ash­­­­ley Hundred.

The final list of performers will be revealed on Thursday.

All of the Coke Stage concerts are free with paid admission onto the Stampede grounds.
