Sweet, sweet roots music.
Nothing can make you forget the white stuff outside like some of the warm stuff inside.
And it doesn’t get much sweeter and warmer than Wide Cut Weekend, which will take over the city and various Music Mile venues Oct. 12 and 13 for the fourth annual festival of country, bluegrass, folk, Americana, Canadiana and everything under the umbrella of roots.
This year’s lineup is another wonderful one, featuring rising and established artists such as Sam Baker, Maria Dunn, Belle Plaine, Colin Linden, Romi Mayes, Ridley Bent and Emily Triggs.
You won’t want to miss a moment of it.
Guess what? You don’t have to.
We have a pair of passes to give away to one lucky reader of the site.
All you have to do is head to our Facebook page, maybe give us a like if you haven’t already, find this post and then comment underneath with the name of the act or artist you really want to see and tag a friend who you want to take.
