Win tickets to CUFF’s 12-Hour Halloween Horror Movie Marathon

Boo. And hooray!

The Calgary Underground Film Festival folks are once again hosting their 12-Hour Halloween Horror Movie Marathon at the Globe Cinema this year.

The frightful fun takes place Saturday, Oct. 27 and features a lineup of scares, gore, grossouts, campy laughs and more. Here’s the lineup:

  • 7 p.m. Hell Fest (2018, Dir. Gregory Plotkin)
  • 8:30 p.m. Christine (1983, John Carpenter)
  • 10:30 p.m. Murder Party (2007, Jeremy Saulnier)
  • 12:15 a.m. High Tension (2003, Alexandre Aja)
  • 1:50 a.m. Graduation Day (1981, Herb Freed)
  • 3:30 a.m. House of 1000 Corpses (2003, Rob Zombie)
  • 5:20 a.m. Drag Me to Hell (2009, Sam Raimi)

Of course, that’s only part of the fun planned for the marathon, with the concession stand open the entire time and bar service until 2 a.m., a costume contest at midnight, giveaways and, should you make it all the way until 7 a.m., you’ll earn yourself a free breakfast!

It’s always a blast and, well, we’d like you to go. Our friends at CUFF have given us two pairs of passes to give away for the entire evening/morning, and we’re looking for people who are in need of some screamtime.

To enter to win, please go to our Facebook page, find this post, and leave a comment telling us the name of the scariest film you’ve ever seen, as well as a person you’d like to spend a spooky night with. We’ll pick the winners at random and let them know by the end of the day on Friday, Oct. 26 via direct message.

Good luck and happy Halloween.
