Win tickets to CUFF.Docs films Weed the People or The Insufferable Groo

As the snow gets set to fly this weekend, you’re gonna want some options to stay warm and cozy indoors.

How about in the inviting aisles of the Globe Cinema, with some buttery popcorn and a Big Rock beverage, to catch a screening at the ongoing CUFF.Docs festival, taking place until Sunday?

We can help.

Our friends at CUFF have given us a pair of tickets to give away to two Saturday, Dec. 1 screenings.

The first is a screening of Weed the People, which, naturally, takes place at 4:20 in the afternoon. Abby Epstein’s documentary is about the push for medicinal cannabis use in the United States — those who need the healing power of the plant, those who fight for the rights of them to use what nature gave us and why it’s been vilified and kept out of the hands of those who could benefit from it the most.

The next screening is something a little lighter — a 7 p.m. showing of The Insufferable Groo, which is about oddball indie director Stephen Groo, who has made almost 200 films in the past two decades. It follows the filmmaker as he attempts to get his elf/human love story made and entice Jack Black to appear in it.

All you have to do is decide which film you want to go to and who you want to take. Head to our Facebook page, find this posting, and comment underneath with both of those answers — which and who. We’ll pick a winner at random and let them know via direct message by the end of the day Friday, Nov. 30.

Good luck!
