If there’s one thing that the National Music Centre’s Alberta Spotlight series has shown is how incredibly diverse the amazing musical acts in this part of the world are.
From hip-hop to electronica to soul, rock and R&B, we’ve seen the best on display on the Studio Bell stages, and it’s adamantly reiterated what we’ve known all along — that Alberta isn’t just a country music breeding ground.
And yet … when we do that, we do that right, too.
To see how well, you can check out raucous Edmonton C&W quintet Saturday, March 23 in Studio Bell’s Performance Hall. The 2018 Project Wild winners will be joined by Calgary-based, sunny, soaring, alt-country songstress Kaley Bird.
Don’t have tickets? Well, we recommend you get some by clicking here.
Or better yet, we could give you a pair. As partners on Alberta Spotlight, our NMC friends have given us some to give away to you.
To enter, please go to our Facebook page, find this post, and leave a comment under it tagging the country lover in your life that you would like to take out on a Saturday night. We’ll pick the winners at random, and let them know by the end of the day Friday, March 22 via direct message.
Good luck and please keep supporting music made in your own backyard.
