Spring has sprung and the Calgary music community is already producing a pretty stunning bounty of new albums.
The next two weeks feature more release shows than we can keep track of, but one that’s been on our radar for the past several months is that of local supergroup Gone Cosmic’s debut Sideways In Time, which they’ll drop Friday, April 12 with a show at The Palomino.
Featuring members of Chron Goblin and vocalist Abbie Thurgood formerly of The Torchettes, it’s a trippy, mindblowing mix of psych, groove, sex and soul.
