Corb Lund, The Sheepdogs, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, The Sadies and Whitney Rose to perform Stampede concert July 7

A little bit country, a little bit rock n roll and one helluva one-day lineup.

News of Stampede parties are starting to come out to get the city excited for the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth and the latest is a stellar July 7 show at the Big Four Roadhouse featuring some remarkable Canadian talent.

Headlining the show is Alberta’s own beloved cowboy crooner Corb Lund, who will be joined by: roots supergroup Blackie and the Rodeo Kings featuring Tom Wilson, Stephen Fearing and Colin Linden; Saskatchewan new classic rockers The Sheepdogs; psych country act The Sadies; and C&W siren Whitney Rose (you can and should catch a sneak peak of the singer Saturday, April 13 at The Palomino).

Doors for the show open at 3 p.m. with The Sheepdogs, Blackie And The Rodeo Kings, The Sadies and Whitney Rose performing throughout the afternoon and evening, and Lund and band capping things off that night.

Tickets are $75 (plus service charges) and go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, April 12 10 a.m. from Ticketmaster. Calgary Stampede Insiders can pre-purchase from Wednesday, April 10 until Thursday, April 11 at 10 p.m. Tickets include admission into the Stampede grounds on the day of the show.
