Your Stampede calendar is filling up quickly with some top-name quality Canadian acts making it difficult to decide.
Take for example the announcement of Oxford Stomp’s lineup this year, with hitmaker Bryan Adams leading the way for the July 12 event at Shaw Millennium Park.
Also joining he of Summer of ’69, Run To You, Everything I Do, et al, is West Coast pop-rockers Odds and chanteuse Amanda Marshall, with another “very special guest to be added.”
“We had a fantastic event for our 30th Anniversary at Shaw Millennium Park in 2018, and we are very pleased the Oxford Stomp will continue to raise funds for our charity partner, the Military Family Resource Centre,” Dave Routledge, vice president Real Estate West for Oxford Properties, said in a release.
It’s going to be a tough call whether this is the corporate event of the Stampede or the previously announced Roundup MusicFest with its lineup of Blondie, Billy Idol, Headstones and Doug and the Slugs set for July 10 at Millennium is the one that’s going to be the party to go to.
Or, you could do both.
“For the first time ever, we are offering a Roundup/Stomp combo ticket with Early Bird pricing, which is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see eight internationally acclaimed recording artists,” said Sarah Geddes, communications director for the Oxford Stomp.
“Dust off your cowboy boots and act quickly as this is going to be one hot ticket and a sold-out event!”
Tickets for Oxford Stomp go on sale Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 10 a.m. from Ticketmaster or from and the official event website at www.oxfordstomp.com.
