Win a pair of passes to CUFF’s 12-Hour Halloween Horror Movie Marathon

What’s better than a horror movie come All Hallows’ Eve?

A 12-hour horror movie marathon curated by the fiendishly fantastic folks at the Calgary Underground Film Festival.

Once again, all the dead cool 18+ ghouls and boo-ys will be at the Globe Cinema on Saturday, Oct 26 for CUFF’s annual 12-Hour Halloween Horror Movie Marathon.

This year, the films to supply the frights and fun from 7 p.m. to 7-ish a.m. in order are: Extra Ordinary, The Evil Dead, Bubba Ho-Tep, Friday the 13th Part 2, The Slumber Party Massacre, Idle Hands and the classic Creepshow.

On top of that, there’s a costume contest, Globe’s concession will be open all night long, there will be bar service until 2 a.m., and a free breakfast for all who make it to 5 a.m. It’s always an amazing time.

Thanks to CUFF, we have a pair of tickets to this packed night of yikes, yucks and hyuks for one lucky — and hearty — horror lover and a pal.

To enter to win, head to our Facebook page, find this post, and comment underneath it tagging a friend and telling us your absolute favourite horror film. We’ll pick a winner at random (note: that said, Rob Zombie flicks ain’t gonna do you any favours) and let them know by the end of the day on Friday.

A couple of other things: Please note that it is adults only, so don’t enter if you are underage or hoping to sneak in someone who is; and finally, no, we don’t expect the winner to stick around the entire time, but it would be nice if you were willing to take in a good chunk of the marathon.

Good luck!
