But they’ll be there for you later. We promise.
So ditch them one night this next week for something a little warmer, comfier and louder: The Calgary Folk Music Festival’s Block Heater event, which takes place from Feb. 20-22 and features such artists as Chad VanGaalen, Hannah Georgas, Shane Koyczan, Kid Koala, 36?, Justin Rutledge, DJ Shub, The Weather Station and Amelie Patterson.

Perhaps we can entice you further. How ’bout a pair of tickets to either the Friday or Saturday evening of the event on us and the folk fest?
Both evenings take place at Studio Bell — all you have to do is decide which night you want to go. Then head to our Facebook page, perhaps think of giving us a like, find this post, then comment underneath tagging a friend you’d like to take with you, and tell us which night you’d like to go and which artist you’re most excited to see. Easy.
We’ll pick the winners at random and let them know via direct message by the end of the day Thursday, Feb. 20.
