Being There: Helping Caregivers See Their Place in the Story – Film Screening and Discussion

March 9, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm MST

Stories for Caregivers is a philanthropic arm of the Telus Fund dedicated to helping and providing support for the 8 million unpaid caregivers across Canada. They are bringing their stories to light through powerful videos, mini-documentaries; the series Caring For Those Who Care honors eight caregivers from across Canada. House Call and Being There are video series which provide ways caregivers can care for themselves, a critical and often ignored factor in caregiving.

From March 9 to 11, 2018, Stories For Caregivers will be holding a local screening of these series at the University of Calgary, where each video will be followed by a discussion, allowing for people to connect and understand the topic even further. Admission to the screening will be granted with a donation that will then be given to a local charity.
