Mat Glenn: Earn Your Stripes

A treadmill, absent of human presence,  runs at a slow speed with a low hum, oil-like rubber gradually flakes off and falls to the floor. Earn Your Stripes, an exhibition by Okanagan-based artist Mat Glenn, uses sculpture to investigate the relationship between humans and the nonhuman, and the subsequent impacts of outdoor exploration via equipment and machinery.
