Of Gods, Myths, and Musicians!

February 15, 2018 @ 12:00 am MST

Virtuoso 18th Century Sonatas for Violin and Harpsichord with the Jarvis-Luchkow Duo.

Violinist Paul Luchkow and harpsichordist Michael Jarvis present an evening of virtuoso 18th-century sonatas in a program including works by Telemann, Handel, Biber, and French composer Michel Corrette’s Sonatas Op. 25. These sonatas offer wonderfully charming and playful musical depictions of stories on mythological themes.

Making music together for a decade, the Luchkow-Jarvis Duo performs music from the Baroque to the 19th century on instruments appropriate to each period. Join us for a great evening of instrumental story telling!

The pre-concert talk will take place at 7:30 p.m. and the concert will start at 8:00 p.m.

$30 (general) / $25 (students/seniors)
Tickets are available online through www.earlymusicvoices.ca or at the door
