Olga Abeleva & Nadya Isabella: Honest Cuts

The project started as a small community initiative in Vancouver where the artists transformed their shared painting studio into an impromptu salon, setting it up differently for each customer. By offering their services for free, the artists re-imagine the relationship between customers and service providers, resisting the urge to predicate interpersonal relationships upon the exchange of capital.
