PhilKids Fundraiser

The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra (CPO) and Fairmont Palliser host an evening dedicated to the outreach, development, and education of children in our community.

The Fundraiser is hosted in the spectacular Crystal Ballroom at the Fairmont Palliser and includes performances by the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and PhilKids participants.CPO’s PhilKids after-school programme fuels the exploration of music amongst children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to take part in music lessons. Through this interactive programme led by CPO musicians, students learn valuable life skills including mentorship, creative self-expression, self-discipline, and cooperative learning. PhilKids unlocks children’s creative potential, helps develop collaborative skills, and provides positive social reinforcement.
