The Bat presented by Cowtown Opera

Calgary’s Cowtown Opera will open its 2018-19 Double Trouble Season with The Bat – an outrageous costume comedy adaptation of Strauss’s Die Fledermaus.

Set in the modern day, Gabe Eisenstein has to spend eight days in jail, but that’s not going to stop him from going to Orlovsky’s famous Halloween Party! He concocts a scheme to get to the party, but little does he know that his wife, his maid, and his friend have their own schemes—and when everyone arrives at Orlovsky’s party, things get batty!

Nightly at 7:30pm, 2pm weekend matinee. Tickets are $40 (general) / $25 (students) / FREE (children 5 and under) and are available online or at the door.
