Taking a page from its successful model of island jams at the annual Calgary Folk Music Festival the folk festival organization is celebrating the grand opening of its Festival Hall in Inglewood with a musical mini-fest heavy on collaboration.
Curated by Lorrie Matheson Paul van Kampen Kenna Burima and Steve Fletcher Allen Baekeland and Brent Cooper the lineup for the celebration is a who’s who of local talent. Agnostic Phibes Rhythm & Blood Conspiracy Reuben Bullock Kenna Burima Chris Dadge Dragon Fli Empire Lorrie Matheson Cam Penner Chris Vail and Chantal Vitalis are just a few of the 35 artists that will grace the new venue’s stage.
Upstairs in the offices local radio DJs will be playing records and food trucks will be on hand to keep everyone well fed.
