Dancers’ Studio West is opening the doors to its theatre tonight for a goodbye party before it leaves the venue.
After more than 20 years in the "black box" in Sunalta the dance company will move out early in the new year and rent rehearsal and performance space for the 2014-15 season.
DSW announed in a media release that it will open the evening of Monday December 30 to give people a chance to say goodbye and pay homage to a space that has played a critical role in the support growth and development of dance in Calgary. This will be an informal gathering for members of the community.
The doors open at 6 pm. For details go to the Facebook event page.
