Well, unless you’re talking about a chance to see and meet Paul Reubens, otherwise known as Pee-wee Herman, and then yes, yes you can buy that. That comes with paid admission to the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo.
Organizers have announced that they’re bringing the one and only Pee-wee to town for this year’s event, which runs April 26-29 on the Stampede Grounds.
As well as his signature character, which was featured in a children’s show and some movies — including the classic Tim Burton directed Pee-wee’s Big Adventure — Reubens was recently featured in the series Gotham as The Penguin’s father.
This year’s Calgary Expo is already shaping up to be one of the best and most star-studded in its history, thanks to previous guest announcements, such as Jeff Goldblum, a Back to the Future reunion (featuring Michael J. Fox., Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson and Tom Wilson), a Princess Bride reunion (with Cary Elwes, Chris Sarandon and Wallace Shawn), Wil Wheaton, Jason Momoa, Anthony Daniels, Megan Follows, Lou Ferrigno and more.
