The things we do for money, hey?
Well, as your week is hopefully winding down and we’re headed into a weekend where the temperature is getting tantalizingly close to patio weather, we’re not going to ask what you do for your dollar bills, we’re going to ask you what you’d do for free.
Specifically, what you would do for a free The Northern Pikes prize pack, which features a pair of tickets to their Saturday, March 23 concert at the Bragg Creek Community Centre and a 30th anniversary copy of the Sasky act’s classic Canrock major label debut Big Blue Sky. The 2017 reissue, which features hits such as Things I Do For Money and Teenland, has also been “super sized” with unreleased and live tracks — 32 tunes in total.
Our friends at Universal Music Canada have armed us with two such packs — a pair of tickets, one album each — and we want you to have them.
What will you do for them?
We’re not asking much, really. Just head to our Facebook page, if you haven’t already, maybe please give us a like, find this post and leave a comment tagging a friend, family member or someone else you’d like to take to the show. That’s it. (Note: For those who don’t have an account, to enter just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.)
Because you may have to plan ahead, we’ll let the winners know by the end of the day Thursday, March 21.
That’s it. Good luck and thanks for visiting theYYSCENE. If you like what you see, please consider supporting local independent arts journalism by becoming a patron through our Patreon campaign.
