We’ve noted before that country music is coming home, with the return of the Country Music Week — including the CCMA awards — in September.
Before that, though, the city gets another tasty sampling of the C&W with the annual Country Thunder Alberta, which takes over Prairie Winds Park this year from Aug. 16-18 and boasts an impressive lineup including headliners Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Pistol Annies, Lindsay Ell, Tanya Tucker, Jake Owen, Terri Clark and so many others.
It will, as always, be a spectacular three days for local lovers of all that is country.
