Calgary Expo adds Dave Bautista, Adam Savage and Boy Meets World cast reunion to 2020 event

Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo’s world just got a little bigger. And more galactic.

The 15th anniversary event, which takes place this year April 23-26, just added some more star-power to their already stellar lineup.

New guests confirmed this week include: former professional wrestler and star of Guardians of the Galaxy David Bautista, who will appear only on April 25; Mythbuster, model maker and FX man Adam Savage; and a special Boy Meets World panel, which reunites the stars of the ’90s TV series Boy Meets World — Ben Savage (Cory Matthews), Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter), Danielle Fishel (Topanga), Will Friedle (Eric Matthews), and William Daniels (teacher George Feeny).

Other recent additions for Calgary Expo 2020 include: “Scott Weigner, the voice of Disney’s animated character Aladdin (joining previously announced Mena Assoud, who played the title character in the live action Aladdin) … ; Jon Bernthal (The Punisher, The Walking Dead, Daredevil); Emile de Ravin, who starred as Belle in Once Upon A Time; and Ross Marquand and Khary Payton (also) from The Walking Dead.”

Again, it’s already a lineup that will have fans, er, lining up, with those guests joining previously announced stars such as: four of the cast members of the American version of The Office, Brian Baumgartner, Leslie David Baker, Kate Flannery and Oscar Nunez  a Hobbit reunion featuring Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd; Star Trek legend George Takei; Breaking Bad actor Giancarlo Esposito; Brendan Fraser from the Mummy films, Encino Man and Blast From the Past; and Alicia Silverstone from Clueless and Blast From the Past.

Also, this week the festival opened up pre-registration for the Parade of Wonders, which will take place the morning of April 24 on Stephen Avenue Walk .

Tickets for Calgary Expo are available from at early bird rates until April 9, and tickets are also now on sale for The Four Hobbits: An Unexpected Reunion.
